Childcare centre’s provide a safe and comfortable environment for children, and part of that comfortable environment involves conditioning the air temperature. Air conditioning is a major component of a childcare centre’s power consumption and the Rochedale Christian Children’s Centre was no exception.
Gold Coast Solar Power Solutions were approached by the owner of the Rochedale Christian Children’s Centre to supply a solar power solution that would best suit their power requirements. After examining the businesses power bills and available roof space a 20kW solar power proposal was put forward and with the short payback period the system would provide and the quality products on offer Gold Coast Solar Power Solutions were selected for the project.
Gold Coast Solar Power Solutions installed 80 x 250W solar panels connected to a Fronius SYMO 17.5 kW inverter at the Rochedale Children’s Centre in February 2016.
This solar power system is providing the customer with substantial savings on their power bills. Savings over the 25 year system life span are expected to be higher than $187,000.00
