Zeversolar Inverter WiFi Monitoring Setup

PLEASE NOTE: Zeversolar is no longer in business & their monitoring portal is no longer supported.

Zeversolar solar inverters came with WiFi monitoring functionality out of the box, however to access this functionality does require some additional setup on your part. The following guide will explain the steps required to setup this handy feature.

Zeversolar wifi networks

Zeversolar WiFi Monitoring Requirements:

  1. Operational Inverter
  2. WiFi network with internet connection and good network signal at inverter location
  3. Mobile device or laptop with wifi connectivity

Zeversolar WiFi Monitoring Setup Instructions:

  1. Open your mobile device or laptop’s WLAN page. Find the new wifi network called ZEVERSOLAR-XXXX. Note: “XXXX” stands for the last four digits in the Registry ID.
  2. Connect to the access point using your mobile device or laptop – the password is “zeversolar”.
  3. Open a web browser and go to https://160.190.0.1. The internal website will be opened.
  4. Select your router in the [Wireless] area. The Password/Security Key dialog box opens. Enter the password of the router. If the inverter is connected to the router, the status indicator on the Wireless page should display the green tick icon as on the image below.
  5. Save the Registry ID and key, they will be used for creating a new plant in Zevercloud.

Hi Scott, the Zeversolar monitoring portal isn’t very functional since they have closed down, unfortunately.

  3. I get the same issue.

On the direct connection http://160.190.0.1/ it shows I am connected to the inverter and ZeverCloud, but I can’t add the plant on the app or website. It says ‘the device has bonded’ but no data appears. Is it working for anyone else? I’m guessing it no longer works as they have gone bankrupt?

    Hi GC SPS
Just moved into a property with Zeversolar 5000, it works fine, is generating good power, but when I’ve set up the app and web say its offline so I cant monitor it on my smart device or online. Get the green dot from 160.190.0.1 etc etc but no luck….any thoughts?

Hi Craig it certainly could be the reason.
