Can the Aurora 5.1kw inverter be used for off grid applications
Hi Jamie, the E014 error on an ABB / Power-One Aurora inverters indicates excessive temperature inside the inverter: External temperature over 60°C. This parameter also depends on the power which the inverter must supply since
the measurement of temperatures is done internally and is influenced by the heat dissipated by the components of the inverter itself.
ABB recommends you check that the inverter is not exposed to direct sunlight. Wait for the temperatures to which the inverter is exposed to return to the operating range and for the inverter to cool down.
If the problem (once the ambient temperature has returned to the range persists, contact customer assistance. Remember to wait the time needed to allow the inverter to cool down.
Hi, could you possibly tell me what E014 error could mean? I read the manual and know that this is over temp but it is not hot or in direct sunlight and I have tried to reboot.
Thanks,
Jamie
Hi Shannon, I take it you have an ABB solar inverter? If so on a web browser you can visit auroravision.net or on the app store you can find the Plant Viewer app.
Hi can you tell me which app I require to access info from my inverter? It’s a 5kw
Thanks
