  1. good morning

Please refer to the pictures on this forum

My NFI has this error X1-NFI
    Fault: CommErr

1- The error shows up when the Inverter X1 enter in standby mode

2- The error disappear in the morning when the inverter X1 1.5 is
    Live/solar producing

3- Due this error the cloud software stop given solar production in
    the app or http

4- Due this error the local app stop given solar production in the app

5- the solution is to disconnect the electric board (everyday) to
reinitiate the NFI / Inverter X1

6- i have lastest firmware provided by my solar installer that confirm the bug

7- i already change ethernet cables

Hi Marty. on the LG batteries there is a DC circuit breaker built into the battery under the top panel, it would be worth opening this up and checking that the switch is still turned on. Thanks

Hi Tim, before we can provide any advice what battery do you have connected to your SolaX hybrid inverter?

  4. Simon Rogers 6 years ago

Hi Tim it sounds like you are trying to draw too much power on the backup circuits and the SolaX hybrid inverter is being overloaded. Try cutting down the amount of loads and that should sort it out.

  5. Martin Reuter 6 years ago

    Hi There
The other day I noticed that the LG Battery had tripped and when checking the charge it said BMS disconnected and ) volts was showing for the battery
I had a spare LG BMS cable but it made no difference
Is there a fuse other than the trip switch?

Is there anything else that I could try before getting someone to come a check it out?

    Cheers Marty
