PLEASE NOTE: Zeversolar is no longer in business & their monitoring portal is no longer supported.
Zeversolar solar inverters came with WiFi monitoring functionality out of the box, however to access this functionality does require some additional setup on your part. The following guide will explain the steps required to setup this handy feature.
Zeversolar WiFi Monitoring Requirements:
- Operational Inverter
- WiFi network with internet connection and good network signal at inverter location
- Mobile device or laptop with wifi connectivity
Zeversolar WiFi Monitoring Setup Instructions:
- Open your mobile device or laptop’s WLAN page. Find the new wifi network called ZEVERSOLAR-XXXX. Note: “XXXX” stands for the last four digits in the Registry ID.
- Connect to the access point using your mobile device or laptop – the password is “zeversolar”.
- Open a web browser and go to https://160.190.0.1. The internal website will be opened.
- Select your router in the [Wireless] area. The Password/Security Key dialog box opens. Enter the password of the router. If the inverter is connected to the router, the status indicator on the Wireless page should display the green tick icon as on the image below.
- Save the Registry ID and key, they will be used for creating a new plant in Zevercloud.
Zeversolar WiFi Monitoring Portal: ZeverCloud
When you have completed the above steps successfully, the next step is to create an account on the Zeversolar monitoring portal, ZeverCloud. You can go to the Zeversolar ZeverCloud monitoring portal here.
On the Zeversolar ZeverCloud monitoring portal you will need to setup a new account and register your inverter on the portal, to do this please check out the
Zeversolar ZeverCloud monitoring portal system setup guide here.
Well done Sam! I do hope that your efforts help someone else with a Zeversolar wifi connection issue. Thanks for sharing with us.
I finally found the solution.
I connected via my mobile to zeversolar at 160.190.0.1. At the wireless tab, I selected my wifi internet connection. Even though it said the connection was successful, I noticed I had a red dot instead of a green one. I entered some random numbers into all those IP spaces etc. and then removed them. Then I tried again to connect. This time I got a green dot at the right-hand corner of the connection, and the IP address etc were filled incorrectly — not 0.0.0.0.
Hope this helps someone.
I now managed to the website to see the monitor. I had to use my mobile phone to do a forced connection (without internet) because my PC will not connect.
However, the problem is only partially solved. My main problem is the “all devices are offline”, although the inverter still working, but I can’t monitor.
I have installed a Zeversolar last year, connected to the monitor and changed the password. All worked well until last week when I changed my internet connection to NBN. Now I need to configure the monitor with the new connection. However, Zeversolar would not connect using either the default password of zeversolar or my new password.
Any help on this?
Hi,
I was able to connect the inverter to the WiFi and I created the account in ZeverCloud, but the Zever cloud does not show any information.
If I log into the Inverter it shows that the communication with Zevercloud is activated (green), but no information is displayed in either the app or the web browser.
Is there another step to get the live readings ?
Thank you,
